Reviewed June 15, 2013 NEWWe dined in the main dining room (not the bar) and enjoyed a great meal on a busy Friday evening. Started with salt and pepper squid ( the real thing – not squid rings). Close call when stolen ute crashes
A stolen ute, allegedly driven by a 14-year-old boy, smashed into the deck of The White Swan Hotel narrowly missing patrons out for the night.
Police had chased the white Toyota Hilux driven, which they said was driven by a Featherston boy, when it lost control coming along Greytown’s Main Street at speed shortly after 7.30 last night. Read full article here
